The Deanery is pleased to present flutist Paul Mizzi in his debut appearance in Davenport.  A Michigan native, Mizzi recently settled in the Quad City area.  He is principal flute in the Knox-Galesburg Symphony, instructor of flute at Black Hawk College, and a DMA candidate at the University of Iowa with a research focus on video game studies.  As a recitalist, Paul Mizzi's solo flute repertoire is broad, rich, and eclectic, ranging from the Baroque and Romantic to Mid-Century Modernism and electronic music. He will be accompanied on this program by pianist Sheila Doak of Rock Island, who is well-known to local audiences as a performer and teacher.
